After some major shakeups in the tech industry due to AI and other factors, Stephen found himself laid off from his web development job of fourteen years. After months of applying for new web development jobs led nowhere, Stephen was encouraged to use all of his other skills to make a living.
Having never liked the idea of putting on a confident face regardless of actual talent, Stephen knew he wanted a way to present his skills in the most humble way possible. One day the name “Handy but Humble” popped into his head, with the tagline, “I might be able to fix it.” However, the more he thought about it, the more he liked “I might be able to fix it” as the name of the business. Of course, since he wouldn’t always be fixing things, another name was needed for when he simply DID something. Thus, IMBAFI IMBADI was born. I might be able to fix it, I might be able to do it.
